Welcome to my new personal website dedicated to Italy's and the world's best wines.

After almost thirty years of travelling all over the world visiting the greatest as well as the least known vineyards and estates, and meeting countless of wonderful people who have devoted their lives to creating memories for us all, I felt it was the right time to start my own wine forum.

Wine is the single greatest beverage in the world, capable of translating minute differences of soil, climate, grape variety and winemaking as no other in the world. It is a vehicle by means of which one learns of the culture of a land and its people, winemaking traditions, the art and science of a territory.

I also felt this was the right time because of some of the things happening in wine today I despise. I truly believe,as stated earlier, that wine is the world's greatest beverage, but lack of honesty in wine labeling, lack of transparency as to what's actually in the bottle, improvised would-be wine experts who spend all day working at their real jobs who nonetheless spout scores and opinions on the unsuspecting out there, byodinamic wines that may or not may be just so, wine scores that have become the only reason why some people buy certain wines... the list is endless. I hope to put my years of tasting experience to your service.

I have had, and still have, an inordinate amount of fun, and have learned a great deal, in the world of wine: the memories I have are magical and unique. I hope this website contributes to some of your own.
